“ every. single. item. was TASTY! No lie, this is the best chicken pho that I have ever had. The broth was extremely flavorful, the noodles cooked to perfection, the chicken was tender and jalapeños added that extra spice! Yum! I only added a dab of siracha & hoisin cause it was so good as is. The crispy shrimp egg rolls were very tasty, crunchy & flaky! Additionally, the dipping sauce was so perfectly sweet. My partner also really enjoyed her rice chicken dish with a fried egg. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick! We were in & out on a Saturday at lunch time within 30 minutes. Prices are great for the value. Great spot, I'll be back-- especially for the chicken pho. Phewww :))) ”
“ I visited Lilly's café on an extremely cold January day with two of my loved ones. There was a small line before we were seated, but it only took around 15 to 20 minutes to get a table. It was around 2 PM on a Saturday. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and friendly. The three of us were seated at a longer table with another group at the other end of the table. This doesn't bother me, but my daughter didn't care for it. Service was fast, we ordered, and our meal was delivered around 10 to 15 minutes later. We had the spicy tofu appetizer, and it was the best and most flavorful tofu I've ever had in my life! Two of us had the tofu vegetable Pho, and it was the freshest and most flavorful I've ever tried as well, full of fresh veggies and very thinly sliced tofu that just melted in the mouth. The other person had the chicken Pho, and she loved it as well. We all agree that this place has the best Pho we have ever tried. ”
“ With the cold temps, I was needing some warm soup and have been wanting to try Lilly's since I first heard about it 10 years ago. The hot pho tai hit and warmed me right up. The rolls which are filled with grilled pork, shrimp, jalapeños and lettuce, were good but they came out of the kitchen a little too quick for me to believe that they were just made. Maybe I'm wrong but just made me wonder. Ambiance is nice for a casual date night but also family friendly as the owner was engaging with the toddler at a nearby table. Prices are reasonable. All that being said, I would go back. ”
“ Also stumbled in this restaurant walking by on New Year's Day ... seemed nice and always can have pho soup ... Sat us right away and took our order right away. Very friendly staff, ordered the combo pho and the noodles ... both were fascinating and tasty. Staff was working diligently as they had no WiFi and they still Made it work ... overall didn't disappoint . The Ambiance was nice and eclectic and very welcoming ”
“ I slept on this place for way too long. I come from Chicago, where I lived near Little Argyle, the Vietnamese epicenter of the Midwest. I know we are supposed to have very good Vietnamese food in New Orleans, but I haven't been impressed with any of the places I've been to. The food in Chicago overall spoiled the crap out of me and I often feel confused by how enthusiastic people are about the food scene here. However, tonight I found a Vietnamese place on par with what I am used to in Chicago. I've been wanting to try it for a long time but I usually eat really late at night and I just happen to be home convalescing. Perfect time for pho. Ordered on Uber Eats. Veggie/tofu pho was delicious. Probably the most balanced broth I've ever had - not too salty. All the accoutrements were perfect, as well as plentiful bok choy, fried garlic, broccoli, onions, carrots. My only slight criticism, which is always a problem with delivered pho, is that the new dolls were a little chewy. Best veggie egg rolls in New Orleans, including all Chinese places. The strawberry/avocado spring rolls were also outstanding. The packaging was great, too. I look forward to coming to eat at Lily's in person sometime, and I will definitely be ordering for delivery when I can. ”
